To say I’m proud is an understatement. What started in my mind as a simple lending policy tool has grown into something so much bigger — a platform that helps brokers upskill their teams, boost productivity, navigate policy, and feel genuinely supported every step of the way.
Two years ago, I took the biggest risk of my career. I stopped writing loans — something I’d done for over two decades — and threw myself into building a tech platform with absolutely no tech background.
There were plenty of moments I thought I was completely crazy. No roadmap, no tech language, no guarantees — just a relentless idea I couldn’t shake. It meant finding a new business mentor, diving into a whole new industry, sitting through meetings with data scientists and engineers (half the time not knowing what they were saying!), and pushing through some serious self-doubt to figure it out. It was uncomfortable — and completely worth it.
To now be recognised alongside so many incredible tech companies I’ve looked up to and learned from is surreal and humbling.
This journey has been full of lessons, pivots, wins (and yes, a few tears!) — but seeing The Brokers' Bible make a real impact in brokers’ lives makes every step of it worthwhile.
